This is a great resource. I am teaching the first aid merit badge to our troop and am slightly confused about the
CPR section of the badge. The latest workbook is from 2023 and it states that the CPR portion must be taught by
someone that is a trained CPR instructor. When I emailed our council, they said that is can be taught by anyone
with a knowledge of CPR. What is correct?

In reply to Shawn Bullock. It comes from a variety of sources, including the Scouting America website. Many of the US Scouts workbooks are not up to date after the 2025 updates. The links are the ones they use for their most recent versions. They might still be working on them, so eventually the links should show the latest. Scouts should always start with the official requirements though and not a workbook.

Where did your teaching information come from? The work books you have linked here are the old requirements I would like to make a new workbook. I want to make sure this teaching information is reflected in the new pamphlet.
